Reform of the nation’s chemical law known as, the Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA) has been talked about for some time. A new piece of legislation known as “Next Generation Compliance” could facilitate the EPA’s enforcement strategy. A combination of the need for TSCA reform and the Agency’s enforcement strategy could result in more opportunities for TSCA enforcement especially in the chemical sector. The EPA’s Fiscal Year 2015 budget asks for an increase in funding especially for TSCA implementation. Is your TSCA program in full compliance?
